The right tools can make the job easier.
After the decal is fixed enough that it does not move,
press it with moderate pressure to make the adhesion of the decal stronger.
This is difficult to do with a cotton swab, so I made a suitable tool with a "Finish Master" and a "Brass rod".
The semi-permanent magic stick makes it easier to work with decals.
