Remove gate (게이트 제거)

A word of advice before starting
Not all content is absolute.

If there is another good method, you can use any, and if there is an unnecessary process, you can omit it.

You just need to keep in mind that everything is relative and connected to each other. 

This guide is just a standard procedure conducted by Dmith.

이 가이드는 절대적인 내용이 아닙니다. 얼마든지 더 좋은 방법이 있을 수 있습니다. 다만 모든 것들은 상대적으로 연결되어 있다는 것이 중요한 것이 아닐까 합니다. 그냥 이 가이드는 데장장이가 킷을 만들때 하는 기본 절차 정도 입니다.

 

1. After separating the parts, trim the gate

노모켄에서 부분 발췌한 게이트 분리 방법

Instead of cutting the gate part all at once, cut with a margin. Leave very little and cut it.
게이트 부분을 한번에 컷팅하지 않고 여유를 두고 컷팅합니다. 니퍼를 사용해서 아주 약간 남기고 잘라줍니다.

If the gate part is thick, it should be cut with an excess.
만약 게이트 부분이 굵다면 여유를 많이 두는 것이 좋습니다.

This is to prevent the parts from being damaged by the nipper.
니퍼로 인해서 파츠 부분이 파이는 일을 방지 하기 위함 입니다.

It is recommended that the direction of the nipper be parallel to the direction of the parts.
니퍼의 방향은 파츠의 방향과 수평이 되도록 하는 것이 좋습니다.

Finish by sanding with sandpaper of moderate roughness.
적당한 거칠기의 사포로 센딩 작업을 하여 마무리 하면 됩니다.

This is a metal file that is used instead of sandpaper for gate finishing. Tamiya products are expensive, but the performance is the best. It is nice to be able to grind only the parts that need to be removed.

The work is not difficult, but it is tedious because there is a lot to be done.

작업은 어렵지 않지만, 해야할 양이 많아서 지겨운 작업입니다.

 

Since it is a case of painting in a later process, it is finished by sending.
도색을 할 예정이므로 사포로 마무리 합니다.

If you don't plan on painting, you'll probably need to use a better nipper to clean the gate area.

도색을 하지 않는다면, 더 좋은 니퍼로 더 정밀하게 다듬어야 할 것입니다.

Do I really need an expensive nipper for this job?
