습식 데칼 기본적인 사용 방법입니다.
다른 습식 데칼에도 적용할 수 있는 방법입니다.

 

(1) 데칼은 사용하기 전에 파란색 용지에서 완전히 분리되어야 합니다.

• 데칼을 사용하기 전에 물에 완전히 담갔다가 매직 스펀지 위에 올려놓으면 물의 양이 자연스럽게 조절됩니다.

• 핀셋으로 살짝 건드려 데칼이 잘 움직인다면, 용지에서 완전히 분리된 것입니다.
• 사용 직전에 완전히 분리되지 않았다면, 뒤집어서 가볍게 문질러 데칼을 안전하게 분리할 수 있습니다.

(2) 큰 크기의 데칼을 옮기고 붙이는 방법

어느정도 크기가 있는 데칼은 "밑장 빼기 방법"으로 데칼을 옮기면 편합니다.

1. 이때 데칼을 잡아 주는 손가락은 물을 약간 묻혀서 데칼이 들러붙지 않게 해주면 좋습니다.

2. 가장 중요한 팁 중에 하나는 ~~ 각 작업에 맞는 "적당한 물의 양"이 있고, 물의 양을 잘 조절해야 정확하고 쉽고 확실하게 데칼을 붙일 수 있습니다.

3. 데칼을 움직어야 할 때 움직이지 않으면 물을 소량 보강 해 주면 됩니다.

4. 파란색의 대지에서 데칼을 빨리 분리해야 하거나, 잘 움직이지 않으면 뒤집어서 문질문질 하면, 데칼 손상없이 빨리 분리 시킬 수 있습니다.

5. 데칼의 아래 쪽으로 정밀 핀셋을 넣어서 한번 죽~ 훑어주면 전체적으로 떨어져서 데칼을 움직이기 쉬워집니다.

 

(3) 작은 크기의 데칼을 옮기는 방법과 데칼연화제 사용 방법

작은 크기의 데칼은 낚시 방법으로 달랑 들어 옮기는 것이 편합니다.

데칼의 가운데를 잡으면 말리기 때문에 가장자리를 딱~! 잡고 비행기 이륙하듯 들어올리는 요령이 필요합니다.

낚시질로 옮기면 물의 양이 적을 수 있기 때문에 물을 미리 보강해두면 편합니다.

위의 영상에서는 데칼 연화제를 미리 처리해서 데칼이 쉽게 움직일 수 있도록 했습니다.

사용한 데칼 연화제는 마크핏 슈퍼스트롱이며,

#클린데칼의 경우 연화됨이 감지되는 시점이 처리 후 10~ 15초 정도 입니다.

그 안에 데칼의 위치를 잡고, 잠시 기다려서 데칼 연화제가 작동될 타이밍을 준 후 물기를 제거하고 최종 고정하면 됩니다.

 

면봉으로도 작업할 수 있습니다.
데칼 연화제를 최종 고정된 데칼 위에 살짝 바르고, 면봉을 사용해서 안에서 밖으로 닦아내는 느낌으로 표면을 정리하면 됩니다. 
아주 작은 코션의 경우는 적당히 물기를 제거하여 움직이지 않도록 한 후 면봉을 수직으로 지긋이 누르면 완전히 고정됩니다.

면봉은 물을 약간 묻혀서 촉촉하게 만들면 까슬거리지 않아서 편합니다.

 

데칼 연화제를 사용할 때 고정하는 타이밍을 놓치면 데칼이 늘어날 수 있어 조심해야 합니다.  
따라서 초보자는 물만 사용해서 데칼을 모두 붙인 다음, 
추가로 연화제를 면봉에 묻혀 바르고 안쪽에서 바깥쪽으로 닦아내면서  
가장자리가 들뜬 부분을 완전히 고정시키는 것이 좋습니다.

This is the basic use of water decals.

( 1 ) Decals must be completely separated from the blue paper before use.

• Before using the decal, soak it completely in water and place it on the sponge to naturally adjust the amount of water.

• If the decal moves easily when gently touched with tweezers, it has completely separated from the paper.
• If it is not completely separated just before use, 
  you can safely remove the decal by turning it over and gently rubbing it.

( 2 ) How to move and attach large-sized decals

For large-sized decals, it is convenient to transfer them using the “paper pulling method".

 

1. At this time, it is a good idea to wet the fingers holding the decal with a little water to prevent the decal from sticking. 
2. One of the most important tips is that there is an “appropriate amount of water”.
   And the amount of water must be properly controlled to apply decals accurately, easily, and reliably.
3. If the decal does not move when you need to, just add a small amount of water.
4. If you need to quickly separate the decal from the blue paper or if it does not move well,
   turn it over and rub it to quickly remove the decal without damaging it.
5. Insert tweezers into the bottom of the decal and gently sweep it once.
   The entire decal will fall off, making it easier to move the decal.

 

( 3 ) How to transfer small-sized decals and how to use decal softener

Small-sized decals are easy to lift and move by like fishing.

 

If you hold the center of the decal, it will fold, so you need to grab the edge of the decal and lift it up as if taking off.
Since the amount of water may be small when fishing, it is convenient to reinforce the water in advance.
In the video above, I pre-treated the decal with decal softener to make it easier to move.
The decal softener used is KARK FIT Super Strong, and in the case of #clean decals, softening is detected about 10 to 15 seconds after processing.
Within that time, you can position the decal, wait for a while to give the decal softener time to work, then remove the moisture and finally fix it.

 

You can also do the job with a cotton swab.
Simply apply the decal softener onto the fully fixed decal and use a cotton swab 
to clean the surface by wiping it from the inside out.
In the case of very small cushions, remove enough moisture to prevent it from moving, 
then press the cotton swab vertically until it is completely fixed.
If you moisten a cotton swab with a little water, it will not be scratchy and will be more comfortable.

 

When using a decal softener, you must be careful because if you miss the fixing timing, the decal may stretch.
Therefore, it is recommended that beginners apply all the decals using only water, 
then apply additional softener on a cotton swab and wipe 
from the inside to the outside to completely fix the raised edges.
