If you are using a BMC panel liner, it is recommended to use it by inserting it into the dedicated holder.
I think that most of the reasons that the sharp end of the panel liner breaks while using the panel liner is due to the twisted angle that does not match the direction of travel.
Of course, there could be more causes than that because it was dropped on the floor.
